UNSW Pioneers

UNSW Pioneers

UNSW Pioneers is a group that celebrates the University’s earliest graduates and the role they played in establishing UNSW’s reputation for outstanding scholarship and a deeply held commitment to social justice. The program offers our early alumni the opportunity to meet old friends, gain new ones, and access to exclusive insights from the University’s remarkable researchers.

Established in 1999 to coincide with the University’s 50th Anniversary, UNSW Pioneers has over 100 active members with access to exclusive annual events. Each year, Pioneers receive invitations to attend three special lunches at our Kensington campus. Here our members are given the chance to catch up with old friends, make new connections, and listen to one of the University’s leading academics present on a topic with widespread appeal.

Membership is free and open to all alumni who graduated prior to 1980. To become a member, send your name, Student ID, degree and year of graduation to alumni@unsw.edu.au. Once your membership is confirmed, you will be added to a mailing list to keep you updated on all upcoming events.
