The scholars of UNSW Arts & Social Science are committed to pushing the boundaries of our knowledge in the core humanities and social sciences. They investigate ideas about equity, identity and social cohesion. They study how those notions are created and maintained. And they explore how they can be used to build a better future for all.

Their research into issues from gendered violence to the ethics of surveillance, enriches the public debate and informs the thinking of decision-makers.
